Forever Faithful Horse Ranch

Photo field trips?! People do that?! Count me in! Wait, I have to wake up at 5:30a to catch the sunrise? Hmmm…ok I’m still in. Here’s some scenes from Forever Faithful, a Horse Therapy Ranch in Montgomery, Texas.  Why is it called Forever Faithful?  Check out this beautiful statement from the owner- and go take your kids there for riding lessons!

“In 2002 after working for Disneyland Paris for 10 Years, I returned home with an inspiration from above to work with troubled children in a Christian Environment with horses in the Montgomery County Texas area. With the small amount of Money I had, I built a small barn and began with two horses, Skippy and Joe I saw children come with depression, emotional trauma from divorce, speech issues, sexual abuse, abandonment, fetal alcohol poisoning, death from an immediate family member, etc, etc. I saw the children began to connect to something bigger than their current situation. The horses were healing to them. I called this special place “Forever Faithful” because Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

I began to see horses that were also in need with malnutrition or physical abuse and I am happy to say that these horses are teaching children today about God, life and love. Horses have been known to help with low self-esteem, positive self-image, courage, friendships, leadership, social issues, depression, work ethic, common sense, confidence, peer pressure issues and much more.

I believe Forever Faithful is a special place where you can feel the peace of God and the love from all the animals he created. We have geese, cats, dogs, ducks, cows, deer, squirrels, of course horses and more. They all live in harmony together. I pray you can come visit us and come experience the healing in this environment and learn more about God’s wonderful creation, “The Horse”.”
