Featured on Swooned: Styled Shoot at The Barn at RockHouse Hideaway, Fredericksburg
Yall this was the best surprise. We pulled this off in two weeks. TWO WEEKS! When planning this out in February with Emily of Hill Country Bride and Sara of Restored Fredericksburg, we were eager to set this up before the spring got us all in crazy mode, which left us with the option of just going for it! The inspiration was the newly announced 2016 Pantone Color of the Year- Rose Quartz & Serenity. Rose Quartz seemed to naturally draw us to geodes, and the geometric centerpieces just seemed to fit! I walked in to the venue to see what Emily and Sara had assembled and nearly dropped my camera bag – it ROCKED SO HARD! {har har pun intended! no seriously, it really rocked}
Our models, Sarah & Kaleb, are a real newlywed couple who had a rainy wedding day last October, so this was a fun opportunity for them to get dressed up as bride & groom again, this time under the Hill Country sunshine. {AND they had also just found out they are expecting a baby! yay to use the dress one more time before the bump begins!!} After it was all done we sat down to eat the cake and pop our own bottle of champagne to celebrate our creative accomplishment. We toasted that night to the hope of getting it published, and so thankful that Swooned Magazine picked it up! You can check out their feature of our work by clicking on their logo below!
