Trois Estate Wedding near Enchanted Rock with Rachel + Joe

Rachel and Joe saw the potential of the Trois Estate courtyard for their small destination wedding – it had onsite lodging and just the right cozy space for their ceremony and reception. It says a lot about who they are that not only did they see potential, they made it more beautiful by having new lights strung across the courtyard (not as easy as it looks!) and having that majestic oak in the middle trimmed of an unimaginable weight of branches for guests to view the ceremony from the balcony. They call Ohio home now, but they left the hill country a little more awesome in their wake.

I met Rachel as a bridesmaid in Cat Byer’s Hotel Emma wedding, and when she chose a Texas destination she remembered me and gave me a shout! During the ceremony Joe read a love letter to her that was so thoughtful, creative and endearing it blew us all away. I love hearing from couples in their own words why they are choosing a life together, it’s one of the most authentic moments of the whole day.

And I think to myself, what a wonderful world…
